Support direct WhatsApp integration (without Twilio)

I’ve previously discussed this privately, but now at least one competitor already supports it (see this doc), so perhaps is it time?

Their version:

  1. Chooses the phone number on their own (although they promise to support custom numbers in the future), so basically the app owner just enables a “WhatApp integration” checkbox and that’s all!

  2. Requires an extra request for each message (similar to what CalStudio already does with images, etc.)

  3. Solves WhatsApp File/Image Sharing Integration (they state “If your agent can do it inside your app, it can do it in WhatsApp too”)

  4. Doesn’t reveal if and how they support a login system (which in CalStudio is required in order to solve Allow to monetize WhatsApp/Email/SMS Integration)

The competitor’s announcement:

Already got an answer from them about point 4 - each time you write to this WhatsApp, it will ask you to identify in the website first. If CalStudio were to act the same way, it would solve the monetization issue!
I guess it looks kind of like this:

Thanks! Just adding they stressed it took merely 7 days to add this feature! They also claim their users immediately started using it:
